Job Title Production Engineer Department Manufacturing Operations Experience Required 2 to 3 Years Location Talawade Pune Reports To Production Manager Plant Head Employment Type Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Engineer with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing operations The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and scheduling production activities optimizing processes for efficiency and cost ensuring equipment reliability maintaining product quality and ensuring safety compliance on the shop floor The role also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and regular analysis of production data to drive continuous improvement Key Responsibilities Production Planning Scheduling Plan schedule and coordinate daily production activities to meet delivery deadlines and customer requirements Process Optimization Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity reduce waste and optimize manufacturing costs Equipment Maintenance Troubleshooting Perform routine equipment checks and coordinate preventive maintenance troubleshoot breakdowns to minimize downtime Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications through regular inspections and corrective actions Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies on the shop floor Work closely with design quality logistics and procurement teams to align production goals and resolve any issues Analyze production data output efficiency downtime and provide reports with actionable insights for improvement Maintain accurate production records standard operating procedures SOPs and equipment logs Required Qualifications Skills Quality Assurance Safety Compliance Cross-Department Collaboration Data Analysis Reporting Documentation Record Keeping Bachelor s degree or diploma in Mechanical Industrial Production Engineering or a related field 2 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes tools and equipment Familiarity with lean manufacturing 5S and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus Proficient in MS Office ERP systems SAP Oracle or equivalent Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a quick-paced and deadline-driven environment Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 200 000 00 - 350 000 00 per year Benefits Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Experience Fabrication 1 year Preferred Work Location In person
