senior accounts officer Job description As a Senior Accounts officer at VANMOH CHIT FUNDS PRIVATE LIMITED you will oversee financial transactions and accounting operations for our chit fund business You will ensure accuracy compliance and efficiency and provide insights to management for informed decisions Responsibilities Financial Accounting and Reporting Maintain accurate records prepare financial statements generate reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards and chit fund regulations Chit Fund Operations Manage accounting aspects of chit fund operations including contributions auction proceeds disbursements and calculations Ensure accurate processing of transactions reconcile accounts and monitor chit group performance Budgeting and Forecasting Assist in budget preparation monitor performance provide variance analysis and identify areas for cost optimization Audit and Compliance Coordinate audits ensure compliance with company policies and regulations and implement internal controls Taxation Ensure compliance with tax laws prepare tax returns and stay updated on relevant changes Qualifications Bachelor s degree in accounting finance or a related field Minimum 5 years of accounting experience preferably in the financial services industry is must Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite especially MS Excel Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team Robust organizational and time-management skills Preferred Skills Knowledge of chit fund regulations and accounting practices Experience with Specific Software Tools if applicable Professional accounting certification e g CA CPA ACCA will be given more preference Personal Attributes Ethical and professional Detail-oriented and accurate Results-oriented and highly organized Proactive self-motivated adaptable and flexible Strong leadership skills Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 35 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Experience Accounting 5 years Required Location Gandhipuram Coimbatore Tamil Nadu Required Work Location In person
