Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Accountant with experience in lease accounting to join our finance team The role involves managing end to end lease accounting processes ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and supporting accurate financial reporting and audits The ideal candidate should process strong technical knowledge analytical skills and experience in working with lease Your role in our mission Maintain and account for all lease agreements operating and finance leases in accordance with Ind AS 116 IFRS 16 ASC 842 Perform lease modifications terminations reassessments and ensure accurate reporting in line with accounting standards Prepare reconciliations of lease-related accounts lease liabilities ROU assets prepayments accruals Collaborate with procurement AP treasury and other teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of lease data Support internal and external audit requirements related to lease accounting Assist in preparation of financial statements and disclosures related to leases Ensure compliance with internal controls company policies and SOX ICFR requirements Assume other activities and responsibilities related to GL as directed What we re looking for Master s degree in finance commerce Management or Economics Minimum 5 years of experience in GL Accounting knowledge in lease accounting will be an added advantage Knowledge on SAP is preferred and proficient in MS Office applications particularly Excel and PPT High degree of integrity professionalism and attention to detail Effective communication and interpersonal abilities with the capacity to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels What you should expect in this role Fast-paced challenging and rewarding work setting Work life balance remote environment Shift timing 12pm - 9 pm IST
