on a great transformation journey - then apply today Key Responsibilities Ability to define maintain and improve deep technical requirements architecture patterns and technologies to build and run a a secure edge hosting and compute capability Lead within an agile framework to build and maintain the secure CDN actively engaging with other teams and stakeholders to collaboratively deliver key results and platform capabilities Establish and be responsible for the operational excellence of the solution as a secure highly available and scalable multi-tenanted capability Define and evolve governance engagement and support models of shared CDN services using agile DevSecOps and Site Reliability Engineering principles Enable automated self-service capabilities on the Platform and accelerate the onboarding and user engagement of CDN and customer facing security services Proactively continuously improve the capabilities of the CDN solution for internal and external customers based on feedback data analytics and metrics Required Experience BA BSc degree in software engineering computer science related subject or equivalent practical experience 5 years hands-on experience with CDN management Extensive experience in managing highly available cloud-native front-end applications Experience in any software development languages Python R Go C etc and automation scripts will be added advantage Deep technical knowledge of content delivery networks Experience of distributed highly available high traffic cloud-native technologies Experience in proactive operational support and maintaining complex distributed systems and associated business services Data and metrics driven with an analytical ability to identify patterns and innovative solutions Experience leading in mature software development and system engineering environments with particular focus on automation Infra-as-Code and automated testing frameworks Technical skills depending on field of expertise Content Delivery Networks and Global Traffic Management design principles Akamai - Key technology Front-end web application development lifecycle - Key requirement Security principles WAF Secure by Design Defence in Depth - Key Requirement API Gateways and distributed transactional applications Automation and scripting Python Infrastructure-as-code GitOps Full stack observability solutions -
