Poonolil Silk Company a renowned name in the textile retail industry is looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead its flagship operations in Edappally The GM will be responsible for the overall management of the retail store s focusing on sales performance customer experience team leadership inventory control and profitability Key Responsibilities Store Operations Management Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail showroom Ensure smooth coordination between sales inventory billing and housekeeping teams Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for replenishments Sales Business Development Drive sales targets and monitor monthly and yearly business performance Analyze customer buying patterns and market trends to strategize promotional activities Develop and execute business growth plans for festive and seasonal campaigns Customer Experience Ensure high standards of customer service and in-store experience Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and professionally Build and retain a loyal customer base through personalized service and relationship management Team Leadership Lead train and motivate the sales and support team to deliver peak performance Conduct performance reviews and ensure proper staffing and shift planning Implement staff incentive plans and training programs Inventory Visual Merchandising Supervise inventory management and minimize stock loss or damages Ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand standards and appeals to the target audience Finance Reporting Maintain budgets cost control and financial reporting to management Track and report on daily sales footfall and other KPIs Coordinate with accounts for stock audits vendor payments and GST compliance Required Qualifications Bachelor s Degree preferably in Business Retail Management or Fashion Textiles Minimum 10 years of experience in the textile or retail fashion industry with at least 3 years in a senior management role Proven expertise in managing large-format showrooms or multi-floor retail outlets Strong leadership communication and people management skills Familiarity with ERP or retail POS systems is a plus Fluency in Malayalam and English is essential Job Type Full time Pay From 30 000 00 per month Work Location In person
