development life cycle Job description Develop structural components and linkage systems for mining trucks and heavy machinery Create 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using Creo preferred and other CAD tools Creo creates structural parts including mechanism design Perform structural analysis FEA for strength fatigue and vibration Validate designs through simulation and physical testing bench and field tests Address service and production line issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions Drive Value Analysis Value Engineering VAVE projects for cost reduction Contribute to patents and creative solutions for structural and linkage systems Select appropriate materials for high-load and harsh environments Collaborate with manufacturing teams for feasibility and cost optimization Coordinate projects across domestics and overseas divisions ensuring timely delivery and quality standards Ensure designs meet ISO and mining industry standards Implement safety and reliability requirements in all designs Perform engineering design through analysis and simulation of prototypes testing Work closely with electrical hydraulic and powertrain teams for integrated solutions Support supplier development and localization initiatives Interact with purchase team teams to define requirements and maintain design development documentation Drive Value Analysis Value Engineering VAVE projects for cost reduction Contribute to patents and innovative solutions for structural and linkage systems Hands on Experience on Scoop Trams or Wheel Loaders Linkage Geometry Payload Bucket Design Structural stability calculations will be preferable Coordination with FEA team and leading FEA results Expectancy of structural life analysing duty cycles loads on geometry Machine dimensional Pins bushes linkages optimization loads strain gauging FOPS ROPS cabin structural requirements etc Knowledge Proficient in Creo for complex 3D modelling large assembly management and detailed drawing creation Skilled in motion optimization and performance validation through mechanism and kinematic simulations Expertise in structural integrity assessment using static dynamic and fatigue analysis for high-load components Strong knowledge of GD T principles and complex tolerance stack-up analysis Experienced in selecting heavy-duty materials based on load conditions and environmental factors Deep understanding of mechanical design fundamentals material behaviour and manufacturing techniques Knowledge of Electrical and Hydraulic system fault finding and diagnostics especially in Mining Equipment Educational Experience requirements M E M Tech B E B Tech degree in Mechanical Agricultural Engineering from reputed institutions 10-15 years in Construction Mining Equipment Lead in R D Lead Complete Structure Function for Excavators Wheel Loaders etc experience through component life prediction reliability structural calculations joints etc Wheel Loaders and Underground Mining Loaders will be added to Advantage and Preferable Competence skills Handling 100 Structure lead Cross functional Teams meetings daily war rooms meetings for failures new design implementations design decisions Is competent and aware of current state-of-the-art Machine Performance specification Reliability DVPSOR Also good in all functions Structures to get CFT work Highly
