A Cashier is responsible for managing all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently The role includes scanning items processing payments handling cash and providing excellent customer service Key Responsibilities Greet customers and provide a friendly positive experience Scan and bill products accurately Process payments via cash card UPI or other methods Issue receipts refunds and change Maintain cash drawer and ensure correct cash balance at the end of shift Handle customer inquiries and resolve billing issues Keep the checkout area clean and organized Follow company policies on returns exchanges and discounts Assist with stocking shelves and basic store operations when required Skills Qualifications Basic math and calculation skills Strong communication and customer service skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle cash responsibly Ability to work in a quick-paced environment Basic computer knowledge POS system experience is an advantage Education Experience Minimum 10th 12th pass Prior cashier or retail experience preferred Working Conditions May require standing for long periods Weekend and holiday availability may be required Job Type Full-time Pay 9 000 00 - 12 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Provident Fund Education Higher Secondary 12th Pass Preferred Language Hindi Preferred Work Location In person
