JOB DESCRIPTION You thrive on diversity and creativity and we welcome individuals who share our vision of making a lasting impact Your unique combination of design thinking and experience will help us achieve new heights As a Data Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Compliance Technology you will be part of an agile team dedicated to enhancing designing and delivering data collection storage access and analytics solutions in a secure stable and scalable manner As an emerging member of the data engineering team you will execute data solutions by designing developing and troubleshooting various components within a technical product application or system while acquiring the skills and experience necessary to advance in your role Job responsibilities Design and implement data models conceptual logical and physical to support business requirements Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources and integrate them into Databricks Collaborate with data engineers analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs Ensure data governance quality and compliance with industry standards Create and maintain documentation for data models pipelines and architectures Troubleshoot and optimize queries and workflows for performance improvement Create modify queries at consumption level for end users Required qualifications capabilities and skills Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2 years applied experience Hands on experience in data modeling with strong SQL knowledge Strong expertise in Databricks Delta Lake advanced queries Experience with SQL Python for data manipulation Knowledge of ETL ELT processes and data pipeline development Hands-on experience with data warehousing relational databases and NoSQL Familiarity with data governance security and compliance best practices Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile setting Preferred qualifications capabilities and skillsExperience working with large-scale data systems and streaming data Knowledge of business intelligence BI tools and reporting frameworks Experience with cloud platforms AWS Azure or GCP is a plus Experience with OLAP tools TM1 Essbase Atoti etc is a plus Experience in Compliance and Risk domain Operational and Compliance Risk Surveillance and Financial Crimes will be preferable ABOUT US
