Job Title Mechanical Design Engineer Company Computers Network Telecom India Pvt Ltd Location Mysore first preference - Bangalore as an alternative Experience 8 12 years minimum Job Summary We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the development of high quality components for low volume high mix manufacturing The role involves end to end design validation and collaboration with production teams to ensure cost effective manufacturable solutions Key Responsibilities - Design plastics sheet metal machined and solid metal parts using SolidWorks Creo or equivalent 3D CAD tools - Apply DFM DFA principles tolerance analysis and material selection to optimize designs for manufacturability - Develop tooling jigs and fixtures coordinate with tooling vendors and production floor - Perform mechanical simulations FEA stress motion thermal where required - Manage CAD data and engineering documentation within PLM or similar systems preferred - Mentor junior designers and ensure best practice standards across the team Required Qualifications - Graduation or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering - 8 12 years of relevant experience preferably in low volume high mix manufacturing environments - Strong grasp of mechanical engineering fundamentals and hands on design execution Preferred Skills -Proficiency in SolidWorks Creo and other 3D modeling packages - Experience with mechanical simulations and thermal analysis - Familiarity with PLM tools for data management Job Type Full time Pay 110 119 95 - 140 674 49 per month Work Location In person
