Roles and Responsibilities for Plant Yard Operations Daily Operations Oversee the efficient flow of scrap materials from yard entrance to processing and shipment Quality Control Verify the quality and specifications of scrap materials before processing or sale Material grading Conduct inspections of incoming materials to verify their quality and accurately categorize them Material Handling Assists in loading and unloading materials ensuring proper handling and storage Safety Protocols Enforce all safety regulations to maintain a safe and secure working environment Maintain a strong focus on safety regulations by enforcing all company and governmental safety regulations Safety Compliance Implement and enforce safety policies conduct safety inspections and ensure the yard adheres to workplace health and safety regulations Conduct training Organize regular training sessions for contract staff on safety best practices proper use of equipment and operational procedures Reporting Prepare and present regular reports on production inventory and overall yard performance Operational Oversight Coordinate and monitor all yard activities including loading unloading materials and equipment to ensure smooth effective and safe operations Operational management Oversee the daily plant operations including the proper arrangement of scrap materials in order Qualifications Required MBA or any post graduation equivalent Experience Minimum 4-5 years Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or similar relevant experience would be added advantage Understanding of production and plant processes Ability to follow written and oral instructions Ability to work in a team Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 25 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Leave encashment Life insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
