The Company Mekuba Petro Products is a manufacturer and supplier of shuttering oils greases and construction chemicals with over 4 decades of experience Requirement We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Executive to lead our R D and product formulation efforts The ideal candidate will be a construction chemicals expert with a deep understanding of admixtures waterproofing solutions and repair materials You will be responsible for formulating new products from scratch optimizing existing ones and ensuring that our product portfolio meets the highest industry standards This is a senior role that requires both technical expertise and strategic leadership Key Responsibilities Product Formulation Lead the research development and formulation of a range of construction chemicals with a primary focus on concrete admixtures e g superplasticizers accelerators retarders and other cementitious products R D Leadership Manage the R D laboratory and a team of chemists guiding them in experiments quality control and product testing Quality Compliance Ensure all products are formulated to meet or exceed national and international standards e g BIS ASTM Supplier Relations Evaluate and select raw materials and manage relationships with suppliers Documentation Maintain meticulous records of all research formulations and testing results Qualifications and Skills Educational Background A Master s or Ph D in Chemistry Chemical Engineering or a related field is preferred A Bachelor s degree with significant relevant experience will also be considered Experience A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in formulating construction chemicals with proven expertise in admixtures Experience in a leadership or senior role is highly desirable Technical Knowledge Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of concrete chemistry polymer chemistry and cementitious materials Problem-Solving Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot formulation challenges and develop innovative solutions Location Must be willing to work full-time from our factory in Ambattur Chennai Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 29 999 00 - 59 999 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Commuter assistance Work Location In person
