JOB DISCRIPTION Develop and maintain relationships with travel industry partners including airlines hotels cruise lines tour operators and other vendors Understand the features and benefits of various travel products and services in order to effectively promote them Generate sales leads through cold calls emails and other marketing activities Provide product information and recommendations to customers Negotiate contracts and rates with vendors to maximize profits for the company Create and update customer profiles in order to better understand their needs and preferences Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and developments in order to remain competitive Utilize customer relationship management CRM software to track customer data and manage sales activities Meet or exceed sales goals and objectives Resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a timely manner SKILL AND REQUIREMENTS Excellent communication skills Self-motivated with strong work ethic Highly organized and detail-oriented Proven sales experience Knowledge of the travel industry Ability to build relationships with customers Ability to work independently or in a team environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Word Excel PowerPoint Ability to use customer service software and other related tools Knowledge of geography and international travel regulations Creative problem solving and decision-making skills Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines Ability to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends Job Type Full-time Pay Up to 25 000 00 per month Education Bachelor s Preferred Experience Business development 1 year Preferred Travel Sales 1 year Preferred total work 1 year Preferred Sales 1 year Preferred Language English Required Work Location In person
