Carry out field surveys to measure and map land using various surveying instruments to establish precise control points and reference systems Collect precise measurements coordinates and other relevant data like elevation distance and angles to establish boundaries and features of the land Perform topographic surveys to map natural and man-made features of the land including contours vegetation utilities and structures Utilise survey data analysis to create detailed maps plans and documentation with Geographic Information System GIS and CAD software Collaborate with project teams to determine and support engineering and construction activities providing recommendations for planning and design Conduct research and analysis to gather relevant information on land records property titles and legal restrictions Ensure compliance with surveying standards regulations and safety protocols in India Communicate with project stakeholders including clients engineers and contractors to clarify requirements and address survey-related concerns Maintain and calibrate survey equipment to ensure accuracy and functionality Follow safety protocols and procedures during fieldwork and adhere to ethical standards in surveying practices Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the surveying field Required skills and qualifications Bachelor s degree in surveying geomatics civil engineering or a related field 5 years of experience in surveying or a similar role Strong knowledge of surveying techniques equipment and software preferably in the Indian context Experience in land survey laws regulations and practices in India Proficiency in using surveying instruments such as total stations GPS receivers laser scanners and CAD software for surveying and land mapping Solid understanding of survey calculations geodesy and coordinate systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret survey data and resolve discrepancies Analytical and mathematical abilities with attention to detail in survey measurements and documentation Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Preferred skills and qualifications Professional certification such as a Licensed Professional Surveyor LPS or Certified Survey Technician CST Experience with 3D scanning and other modelling techniques Knowledge of environmental and sustainability considerations in surveying Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation using statistical software or tools Understanding of land development and construction processes Familiarity with building codes and regulations in India Job Type Full time Pay From 20 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Expected Start Date 06 10 2025
