Job Role DBA Experience 2 - 4 years We are seeking a talented and experienced Database Administrator DBA to join our agile team The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining managing and optimizing our database systems primarily focusing on MongoDB and MySQL If you are passionate about data possess strong problem-solving skills and are dedicated to ensuring data integrity and performance we want to hear from you Responsibilities Database Management Administer and manage Relational MySQL and Non relational MongoDB database systems Monitor database performance and ensure its stability reliability and availability Ensure data security including user access and data encryption Manage and monitor database backups and data restoration processes Performance Tuning Identify and resolve performance issues bottlenecks and inefficiencies Optimize MongoDB and MySQL queries and database configurations to improve performance Data Restoration Develop and implement effective data backup and restoration strategies Perform routine data restoration tests to ensure data recoverability Database Design and Development Collaborate with the development team to design implement and maintain database structures Implement indexing and schema changes based on application requirements Security and Compliance Manage database security including user roles and permissions Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations including GDPR Documentation Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations and processes Create and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures Automation Develop and maintain database automation scripts and tools to streamline tasks Ensure automation is in place for daily DB archival and restoration along with relevant teams Develop ETL jobs for data management fine tune ETL queries and have relevant alerts in place Monitoring and Alerts Implement database monitoring and alerting solutions Respond to and resolve alerts related to database performance and security Database Upgrades Plan and execute database system upgrades and patches Collaboration Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and deployment Provide technical guidance and support to developers and stakeholders Qualifications Proven experience as a Database Administrator DBA with expertise in MySQL and MongoDB Strong knowledge of database design implementation and optimization Experience with data backup and restoration techniques Familiarity with database security and compliance standards Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries Solid understanding of automation tools and scripting languages Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and collaboration abilities Education and Certifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field preferred Relevant certifications e g MongoDB Certified Professional MySQL Database Administrator are a plus If you are a dedicated and skilled Database Administrator with expertise in MySQL and MongoDB we encourage you to apply Join our team and contribute to the success of our data-driven initiatives
