Roles and Responsibilities Client Collaboration and Relationship Management Meet with clients to understand their vision preferences functional requirements and budgetary constraints for their commercial or residential projects Provide expert guidance on design solutions that align with client goals while adhering to project feasibility and timelines Develop and maintain strong client relationships through clear and consistent communication ensuring their satisfaction throughout the design process Present design concepts materials and plans to clients incorporating feedback into refined proposals Design Development Research conceptualize and create original interior design concepts tailored to individual projects Prepare space plans layouts and detailed sketches to optimize the functionality and aesthetics of spaces Create mood boards color palettes and material samples to convey design themes and concepts to clients Select and specify materials finishes furniture fixtures lighting and accessories that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements Ensure all designs adhere to applicable codes regulations and safety standards Project Management Collaborate with architects contractors engineers and other professionals to integrate interior design concepts into broader project plans Develop and maintain project schedules ensuring all milestones are met and that projects are delivered on time and within budget Manage the procurement process including sourcing ordering and coordinating the delivery of materials and furnishings Oversee the implementation of designs including conducting on-site visits to monitor construction progress and resolve any design-related challenges Technical Design and Documentation Prepare detailed technical drawings renderings and construction documents using software such as AutoCAD Revit SketchUp or similar tools Create 3D visualizations and walkthroughs to help clients visualize the proposed designs Produce accurate cost estimates and budgets for design solutions ensuring alignment with client expectations Maintain accurate records of design specifications project timelines and progress reports Team Collaboration Work closely with other members of the design team to brainstorm creative solutions and ensure a unified approach to each project Mentor junior designers providing guidance and support as needed Act as the primary liaison between clients contractors and vendors to ensure seamless communication and coordination Research and Innovation Stay current on design trends materials and technology incorporating fresh and innovative ideas into projects Attend industry events trade shows and supplier meetings to explore new products and build relationships with vendors Conduct market research to identify cost-effective yet high-quality design solutions Problem Solving Identify and address potential challenges during the design and implementation phases finding practical and creative solutions Adapt designs as needed based on feedback or unforeseen project constraints Quality Assurance Ensure that all design work meets TriCore Designs standards of quality creativity and functionality Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure that the completed space aligns with the approved design plan and client expectations Job Type Full time Pay 20 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Work Location In person
