Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Planning Manager to oversee production planning inventory control raw material forecasting and workflow coordination for our wooden furniture manufacturing unit in Daman The candidate must have a deep understanding of furniture production cycles material requirements and supply chain coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective output Key Responsibilities Develop and manage production planning schedules based on sales forecasts order demands and production capacity Monitor and optimize inventory levels for raw materials semi-finished and finished goods Coordinate with the design procurement and manufacturing teams to align planning with business priorities Analyze and anticipate material and component requirements for wooden furniture based on BOMs Bill of Materials Oversee work orders and ensure timely release to production to meet delivery targets Identify and resolve potential bottlenecks in production resource availability or scheduling conflicts Track supplier lead times and align with procurement for timely material sourcing Generate and maintain accurate MIS reports dashboards and production data Implement planning tools and ERP systems ERP MS Excel for enhanced efficiency Drive continuous improvement in planning and production processes Liaise with quality dispatch and warehouse teams for seamless coordination Job Expectations Qualifications Skills Minimum 5-8 years of experience in production or planning roles preferably in the furniture or wood products industry In-depth knowledge of wooden furniture materials components and production cycles Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and ERP systems Excellent organizational and team coordination abilities Strong communication skills for interdepartmental collaboration Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and handle multiple priorities Minimum Qualification Bachelor s degree in Production Planning Supply Chain Management or related field Minimum Job Experience 5-8 years of experience Reporting to CMD Travel Frequent Travelling Required
