Job Summary The Sales Engineer - Metrology will be responsible for technical solution selling of dimensional inspection and metrology systems The role involves understanding customer measurement challenges recommending appropriate inspection solutions conducting technical demos and supporting the sales cycle from requirement analysis to deal closure Key Responsibilities Engage with manufacturing clients to understand metrology and dimensional inspection requirements Recommend suitable inspection machines and measurement solutions based on application needs Conduct technical product demonstrations and presentations Support preparation of techno-commercial proposals and quotations Collaborate closely with sales application and service teams to achieve business targets Assist in negotiations and support closure of orders Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business Track market trends competitor offerings and emerging technologies in metrology Provide regular updates on pipeline forecasts and customer feedback to management Qualifications Skills Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Production Mechatronics Instrumentation Engineering or related field Experience in metrology dimensional inspection precision measurement or quality systems Solid understanding of CMMs vision systems gauges or inspection equipment Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers Good communication presentation and negotiation skills Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Willingness to travel for customer meetings demos and industry events Preferred Experience Prior experience in metrology equipment precision manufacturing or industrial automation Exposure to automotive aerospace machining or manufacturing clients
