Data Specialist Functional area Marketing Location India City Pune Company name Edwards India Private Ltd Date of posting Nov 20 2025 Your Role With the further growth of VIN and the integration within the Vacuum Technique SAP landscape we are looking for a specialist to manage the VIN portfolio data and processes in SAP Correct setup and processes are crucial to ensure we respect our commitment to our customers The role of the data specialist is to identify master data issues and process gaps and put in place durable solution to get a smooth and fully transparent transaction from factories and distributions centers to end customers Main Responsibilities 1 Material management Oversee the system setup for newly released products e g MRF CRF plant set up etc in coordination with PMs and Data Management team Monitor and resolve material status discrepancies between LEYSAP and VTSAP with IT support ensuring accuracy prior to automated synchronization Manage out-phased materials including status updates substitution setups and compliance with business requirements Ensure product availability in C4C systems Liaise with VTIS and SAP support teams to contribute to future SAP development initiatives Investigate complex data issues across multiple SAP systems plants and distribution centers globally Identify root causes and propose process improvements in close cooperation with IT s Business Process Improvement teams 2 Global Communication Customer Focus Serve as a point of contact for global customer care and business line managers to resolve issues and enhance customer-centric processes 3 Operational Collaboration Administrative Support Assist with administrative tasks such as Product 360 data maintenance and SharePoint management Support creation and updates of product hierarchies and new product setups with assistance from Data Management and GECIA teams 4 Process Flow Mapping Stakeholder Coordination Collaborate with Operations to understand and configure business flows Develop comprehensive flow maps to support Product Managers PMs in identifying correct product data setups and relevant stakeholder contacts The role is supporting all brands including for example Varovac Dekker Stokes To succeed you will need Experience requirements B Tech B E in Any Specialization Any Graduate in Any Specialization 3 years of previous and recent experience in a similar SAP Data Analyst role Ability to follow global strategy whilst balancing local needs Independent thinking and good decision-making capabilities Strong experience in business process capturing and analysis Robust analytical background with proven records in applying analytical concepts and techniques Customer focused and willing to go the extra mile Able to learn quickly Able to adaptable deep dive into different areas of the company Strong with IT tools O365 and power BI dashboard creation SAP experience is highly recommended other ERP system experience also valid Good English level and strong interpersonal and communication skills Personal Attributes Proactive mindset and openness Build up relationships and network with all stakeholders Communicate with influence In return what we offer you Plenty of opportunities to grow and develop A culture known for respectful interaction ethical behavior and integrity Potential to see your ideas realized and to make an impact New challenges and new things to learn every day Access to global job opportunities as part of the Atlas Copco Group An excellent remuneration package Support for maintaining a healthy work-life balance including vacation personal and sick time Uniting curious minds Behind every innovative solution there are people working together to transform the future With careers sparked by initiative and lifelong learning we unite curious minds and you could be one of them
