Key Responsibilities
- Operate and troubleshoot injection molding machines.
- Monitor daily production schedules and achieve production targets.
- Supervise assembly line operations and coordinate manpower allocation.
- Perform mold changing and machine setup activities.
- Control and optimize process parameters for quality output.
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams for uninterrupted production.
- Maintain production records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure workplace safety and housekeeping standards.
Required Skills
- Injection Molding Process Knowledge – Robust understanding of molding operations and cycle optimization.
- Mold Handling & Changeover – Expertise in mold installation and setup.
- Production Supervision – Ability to manage daily production activities.
- Process Parameter Control – Monitoring and adjustment of machine parameters.
- Manpower Management – Handling operators and shift activities effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Lean Manufacturing exposure.
- Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies.
Work Experience Requirements
Candidates should possess experience in injection molding manufacturing environments, production supervision, and assembly operations. Experience handling molds, machine settings, production targets, and manpower coordination is preferred. (Typical senior-level experience range: 5–10 years.)
Education
- Minimum: Diploma / in Mechanical, Production, Polymer, or related field (Typical)
- Preferred: Engineering Degree
- Additional: Certifications in Injection Molding or Manufacturing Processes (if available)
