Job Role: Social Media Content Creator- Intern

Experience Level: 0 – 1 years

Location: Bangalore (Onsite)

Job Overview

As a social media content creator at Zylu, you will be at the forefront of crafting engaging, creative, and impactful content that connects with salon owners and end consumers. You’ll work closely with our marketing team to shape Zylu’s online presence and support our mission of helping salons grow in India and international markets.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop and publish engaging social media content (posts, reels, stories, videos)

that reflects Zylu’s brand voice.

- Script, curate, and act in short-form video content to simplify and showcase Zylu’s

products and their impact.

- Work with designers, marketers, and the leadership team to align content with brand

and campaign objectives.

- Track and analyse content performance, iterating based on engagement and reach.

- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and formats to keep Zylu

ahead of the curve.





- Proactively generate recent content ideas tailored to salon industry trends and target

audiences.

Role Requirements

- Prior internship or freelance experience in social media content creation is preferred.

- Strong skills in scripting, presenting/acting, and basic video editing.

- Creative mindset with the ability to convert concepts into engaging digital content.

- Highly proactive with a sense of urgency to deliver quick, trending content.

- Strong interest in startups, SaaS, or the beauty/wellness industry is a plus.

- Job Type: Internship (3 months)

- Pay: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

- Work Location: In-person (Bangalore office)

Growth Path

- This internship is designed to evolve into a full-time social media executive/marketing role based on performance. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with end-to-end content strategy and execution.

- Work directly with the marketing leadership team on live campaigns.

- Take ownership of Zylu’s growing digital brand presence.

- Transition into a permanent role with greater responsibilities and creative ownership

after successful completion of the internship.

Hiring Process

- Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a creative task or content

exercise to showcase their skills.

- Live discussion with the marketing team to assess creativity, execution speed, and

cultural fit.

- Final interview with leadership for role alignment and growth opportunities.
