Hostel Warden (Female)

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage all aspects of hostel life for female students, ensuring a secure, secure, and supportive environment.
- Monitor student attendance, punctuality, and discipline; enforce school rules and conduct regular checks.
- Coordinate daily routines such as meals, laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance of hostel facilities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for students, parents, and school authorities on matters related to hostel welfare.
- Organise and supervise extracurricular and recreational activities that promote personal development and community spirit.
- Maintain accurate records of student health, emergencies, and incidents; promptly report any issues to the school administration.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire‑safety regulations within the hostel premises.
- Conduct regular counseling sessions, support academic monitoring, and liaise with faculty to address student needs.
- Oversee hostel staff (cleaning, kitchen, security)



and manage shift schedules, training, and performance.

Essential Qualifications

- Minimum: Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong interpersonal abilities, with a caring and empathetic approach toward students.
- Demonstrated leadership and team‑management capabilities.
- Basic proficiency with computer applications for record‑keeping and reporting.
- Female candidates only (as per role requirement).

Desired Experience

- Minimum 2 years of experience in hostel management, residential supervision, or related student‑welfare roles.
- Maximum 10 years of relevant experience; candidates with more than 5 years will be given preference.
- Prior experience in a co‑educational or residential school environment is advantageous.
