About the Role We are seeking a qualified Horticulturist to support the development of Miyawaki forests across India The role includes site assessment native species selection on-ground supervision and ensuring strict adherence to the Miyawaki methodology The candidate must be comfortable with continuous travel fieldwork and coordination with local teams nurseries communities and partners Key Responsibilities Conduct soil climate and site assessments identify suitable native species Prepare plantation plans and technical reports as per Miyawaki standards Supervise land preparation soil mixing mulching watering and plantation work Coordinate with nurseries for procurement of healthy native saplings Monitor growth pest issues and prepare weekly reports with documentation Guide field teams and support community and volunteer engagement Ensure strict adherence to the Miyawaki methodology during all stages Qualifications Experience Bachelor s degree in Agriculture Horticulture Forestry Environmental Science Master s preferred 1-3 years experience in plantation horticulture forestry or restoration Mandatory hands-on experience with the Miyawaki method and native species Skills Strong knowledge of plant health soil science pests diseases and species selection Ability to manage field operations independently good communication skills Willingness to travel extensively 90 Pan India Good documentation and reporting skills Job Type Full time Pay 15 504 13 - 35 050 55 per month Work Location In person
