This role is for one of the Weekday s clients Salary range Rs 1000000 - Rs 2500000 ie INR 10-25 LPA Min Experience 2 years Location bangalore JobType full time We are looking for a talented backend engineer to design and build the robust foundation of our SaaS platform You will play a pivotal role in architecting scalable microservices on AWS and implementing modern serverless solutions As a founding backend engineer you ll take ownership of developing and maintaining the back-end systems and infrastructure You ll collaborate closely with a small team of engineers to design and deliver scalable efficient and reliable solutions This is an in-office role based in Bengaluru Requirements Responsibilities Design and develop highly available performant microservices using Node js Leverage AWS services Lambda API Gateway DynamoDB etc to build serverless architectures Implement secure and robust RESTful APIs to power frontend experiences Manage and process data streams from IoT devices ensuring reliable data ingestion Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews Collaborate with frontend engineers and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment Ideal Candidate 2 years of experience building backend systems in a product-based company Strong foundation in Node js and proven experience building scalable APIs Deep understanding of AWS services especially serverless technologies Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred but not required Bonus Experience with a type-safe language e g TypeScript Java C Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools Credible open-source contributions
