databases The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of database architecture high availability configurations disaster recovery performance optimization and automation with hands-on experience working in cloud and on-prem environments You will Database Management Create configure and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL databases ensuring high availability data integrity and performance High Availability Disaster Recovery Implement and maintain high availability HA setups and disaster recovery DR strategies including failover management replication streaming logical and backup strategies Performance Monitoring Optimization Monitor database performance optimize queries and fine-tune configurations using native and third-party tools for both Oracle and PostgreSQL databases Automation Scripting Automate routine tasks such as backups database health checks and maintenance using scripting languages such as Shell Scripts Python DOS and PowerShell Capacity Planning Plan for database growth including storage memory and load balancing for optimal performance in both Oracle and PostgreSQL environments Database Upgrades Version Updates Ensure smooth and secure administration of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases HA DR Hands-on experience with high availability and disaster recovery configurations including replication streaming and logical failover management and backup strategies Performance Tuning Expertise in database performance analysis query optimization and capacity planning Automation Robust scripting skills in Shell Python DOS or PowerShell to automate routine tasks Database Security Solid understanding of database security principles and best practices for both Oracle and PostgreSQL Cloud Environments Experience working with cloud-based databases and multi-tenant architectures Operating Systems Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems in managing databases Communication Skills Strong written and verbal communication
