Job Purpose The Production In-Charge will be responsible for managing and supervising the overall production activities of the manufacturing unit The role ensures that production targets are met with the required quality standards optimal utilization of resources and adherence to timelines and safety protocols Key Responsibilities Production Planning Execution Prepare and execute daily weekly and monthly production plans Allocate manpower and resources to meet production schedules Ensure efficient utilization of machines tools and materials Process Quality Control Monitor production processes to maintain product quality and minimize rework rejections Implement quality checks at different production stages Ensure compliance with ISO company standards and customer requirements Team Management Supervise operators technicians and workers in the production line Train and guide team members on process improvements safety and quality standards Monitor attendance discipline and performance of the production workforce Coordination Reporting Coordinate with the store purchase and design departments for smooth production flow Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods as per customer requirements Prepare and maintain daily production reports downtime analysis and performance tracking Maintenance Safety Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of production equipment in coordination with the maintenance team Enforce workplace safety rules 5S and housekeeping standards Identify and resolve production bottlenecks to improve efficiency Continuous Improvement Implement lean manufacturing practices cost reduction measures and process improvements Work towards achieving productivity efficiency and waste reduction goals Required Skills Competencies Solid knowledge of production processes in a manufacturing setup Leadership and team-handling skills Knowledge of quality control lean practices and process optimization Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability Good communication and interpersonal skills Qualifications Experience Diploma B E B Tech in Mechanical Production Industrial Engineering 1-7 years of experience in production management manufacturing engineering industry preferred Key Performance Indicators KPIs Achievement of daily monthly production targets Quality compliance reduction in rework rejection rates Machine manpower utilization efficiency Timely order fulfillment dispatch Safety and compliance adherence Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
