Job Title Senior Design Engineer - Solar Energy Location Bengaluru Department Engineering Design Reports To Engineering Manager or Director of Engineering Employment Type Full-time Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end design process of solar PV systems rooftop ground-mounted carport etc Create detailed electrical and structural design drawings using tools such as AutoCAD Helioscope PVsyst and SketchUp Conduct site assessments evaluate technical feasibility and perform energy production simulations Develop single-line diagrams SLDs layout drawings and equipment specifications Should have the knowledge of both AC and DC Design Ensure designs comply with applicable codes standards NEC IEC IEEE utility requirements and local AHJs Collaborate with sales project management and installation teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility Support permitting process by preparing and reviewing design packages Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support design optimization to reduce costs and improve performance Stay updated on new technologies materials and industry trends Troubleshoot design issues during project execution and provide engineering support through project lifecycle Head the team Number of years of Experience 5 to 10 years Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 50 000 00 - 100 000 00 per year Work Location In person
