About the Role We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who specializes in short-form content editing for podcasts and talking head videos The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling editing flow and social-media-first video formatting Reels Shorts TikTok You will work closely with our content and creative teams to transform raw recordings into polished engaging and viral-ready video assets Key Responsibilities Edit raw podcast episodes into short-form clips 30-90 seconds optimized for Instagram Reels YouTube Shorts and TikTok Edit talking head videos 15-60 seconds with clean transitions captions sound design and motion graphics Select the most engaging clips from long podcast episodes ability to spot viral potential Add subtitles kinetic typography emojis memes GIFs b-roll and stock footage where relevant Incorporate brand elements logos fonts color palettes intros outros Optimize videos for social media algorithms hooks pacing retention tactics Collaborate with the team to meet weekly deadlines and handle feedback efficiently Stay updated on short-form video trends editing styles and platform-specific best practices Skills Requirements Proven experience editing short-form content podcasts and talking head videos Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects or DaVinci Resolve Final Cut also considered Knowledge of motion graphics typography and meme culture for enhancing engagement Ability to maintain fast turnaround times without compromising quality Familiarity with AI editing tools Descript Opus Clip etc is a plus Strong understanding of storytelling and pacing to make videos binge-worthy Excellent communication and ability to take constructive feedback Nice to Have Experience editing in styles similar to Iman Gadzhi Ali Abdaal or modern podcast channels Basic knowledge of audio mixing improving voice clarity removing background noise Interest in social media growth and personal branding content Compensation Competitive monthly salary or project-based rate based on experience Opportunities for performance bonuses and growth within the agency Application Process Please submit Your portfolio showreel with examples of short-form podcast edits Links to 2-3 videos that showcase your editing style A short note about your editing approach and turnaround capacity Job Type Full time Pay 20 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Work Location In person
