Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and passionate Career Counsellor to join our coaching institute The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in student counseling and career guidance They will be responsible for helping students select the right courses based on their skills and interests mentoring them throughout their training period monitoring their progress and providing personalized support to help them achieve their dream job Key Responsibilities 1 Student Assessment Course Selection Conduct detailed assessments of students skills interests and goals using tests interviews and counseling sessions Recommend the most suitable training programs and career paths Explain course options career outcomes and job opportunities to students and parents 2 Continuous Student Mentorship Act as the primary mentor for students throughout their training period Conduct regular check-ins to monitor academic progress attendance and engagement Identify students who need extra support and design personalized improvement plans 3 Performance Monitoring Reporting Track students progress through assessments projects and mock tests Provide timely feedback and actionable suggestions to students and trainers Prepare monthly performance reports for management and parents where applicable 4 Personalized Training Career Guidance Organize mock interviews resume-building sessions and career workshops Provide personalized soft-skill training and confidence-building exercises Guide students on internships certification exams and job applications 5 Placement Career Support Collaborate with the placement cell industry partners to connect students with job opportunities Prepare students for campus drives job interviews and technical assessments Celebrate student success stories to inspire current and future batches Required Qualifications Skills Education Bachelor s or Master s degree HR Education or a related field Experience Minimum 4 years of experience in career counseling student mentorship or training Skills Robust communication counseling and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate students and keep them engaged throughout the program Knowledge of current job market trends and industry requirements Excellent organizational skills for tracking student progress and managing multiple batches Familiarity with LMS Learning Management Systems and online assessment tools is a plus Job Type Full-time Work Location In person
