Apple is a place where extraordinary people gather to do their best work At Apple we craft products and experiences people once couldn t have envisioned and now can t imagine living without If you re excited by the idea of making a real impact a career with Apple might be your ideal job Just be prepared to dream big We believe that collaboration is one of our key strengths and every day we will connect you with your peers and colleagues at one of the most diverse and inclusive companies in the world As an individual you ll be a key player within the function As part of our Apple India team you will work in the Global Business Solutions Record to Report R2R team This is a key role in a fast-paced environment with the potential for the role to develop further with additional responsibilities in line with business requirements This role will give phenomenal exposure to not only the R2R team but also the wider Apple organisation We are a high functioning team so if you are flexible and passionate about interacting with a range of people locally and globally love building positive relationships and working on impactful projects then this position is an exciting opportunity for you Description Accounting and Financial Reporting o Manage various accounting activities under US GAAP Indian GAAP IGAAP and Ind AS including financial statement preparation reviews documentation and external reporting o Assist in maintaining and improving accounting systems and processes within the area of responsibility o Create and maintain process documentation and recommend ongoing improvements and automation opportunities Audit Coordination Compliance o Own and drive the internal and external audit process ensuring timely submission of audit schedules PBCs evidence and process overviews o Liaise with internal and external auditors advocate for company positions respond to queries and document audit findings and outcomes o Responsible for Sarbanes-Oxley SOX compliance within accounting functions o Preempt audit queries work through alternatives and ensure strong audit readiness Stakeholder Collaboration o Coordinate with internal stakeholders finance legal operations tax etc to gather verify and present audit- or accounting-related information o Partner with other Finance functions and regional accounting hubs to ensure consistency in accounting processes and corporate policy adherence o Collaborate with regional leads to ensure global alignment on accounting treatment and reporting Process Improvements Projects o Identify and drive process improvement opportunities across US GAAP and local GAAP requirements o Participate and engage in cross-functional projects and initiatives related to finance transformation or process optimization Responsibilities Provide accounting support to other departments as needed Take on additional responsibilities or tasks as assigned Minimum Qualifications Chartered Accountant CA with 7 years of prior experience at a Big4 firm Strong knowledge of US GAAP Ind AS IFRS and relevant tax laws and compliance regulations Proficiency in SAP ERP systems familiarity with tools such as Blackline Tableau Dataiku and Slack is a plus Solid accounting and analytical capabilities with high attention to detail Demonstrated ability to analyze information meet deadlines and ensure accuracy and thoroughness in deliverables Self-motivated and adaptable thrives in fast-paced dynamic environments Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative team mindset Willingness to take ownership of tasks and contribute to special projects as needed Ability to step up and handle special projects in specific areas as and when needed Preferred Qualifications Able to exercise good judgment and discretion within Apple s policies Passion in process improvements and automation Detail oriented and exceptional organization skills Mature responsible driven and able to work independently with minimal direct supervision Desire for driving global operational improvements and system automation while maintaining a strong internal control environment Proven ability to juggle multiple key initiatives simultaneously Submit CV
