Job Title Health Informatics Trainer Department Health IT Training Clinical Education Employment Type Freelance Location Remote Job Summary We are seeking a Freelance Health Informatics Trainer to deliver remote training and support for healthcare professionals on Electronic Health Record EHR systems and other health IT tools This role involves designing and conducting virtual training sessions developing digital learning materials and assisting with onboarding during EHR implementations or upgrades The ideal candidate has a solid background in health informatics clinical workflows and adult education Key Responsibilities Deliver virtual training sessions to healthcare providers and administrative staff on EHR EMR systems e g Epic Cerner MEDITECH Create engaging digital training content such as video tutorials webinars quick-reference guides and interactive e-learning modules Support new system rollouts upgrades or workflow changes with remote onboarding and follow-up training Adapt training content based on client needs feedback and system changes Collaborate with IT teams clinical leaders and project managers to ensure training aligns with system workflows and regulatory standards Offer post-training support troubleshoot user issues and provide refresher sessions as needed Track training attendance assess learner performance and report outcomes to stakeholders Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Health Informatics Health Information Management Nursing Education or related field Proven experience training clinical or administrative users on EHR systems in a healthcare setting Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills in a virtual environment Comfortable using remote training tools e g Zoom Microsoft Teams Webex and e-learning software e g Articulate Moodle Canva LMS platforms Able to work independently and manage multiple freelance assignments Preferred Qualifications EHR vendor certification e g Epic Credentialed Trainer Cerner Trainer Clinical background RN LPN Allied Health is a plus Experience with remote troubleshooting and helpdesk support Knowledge of HIPAA HITECH and other healthcare regulations Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design Job Type Freelance Work Location Remote
