Position Title Medical Typist Female Department Medical Records OPD IPD Location Brindhavvan Areion Hospital Type Full-time - Immediate Joining Required Experience 5 Years in Hospital Clinical Typing or Medical Transcription Job Summary We are seeking an experienced female Medical Typist to join our hospital team immediately The ideal candidate must possess excellent medical terminology knowledge fast and accurate typing skills and previous experience in handling medical records reports and consultant dictations Key Responsibilities Medical Report Typing Transcribe dictated recordings by doctors consultants into formatted medical reports discharge summaries prescriptions referrals etc Ensure accuracy in spelling medical terms and formatting Handling Electronic Medical Records EMR Input and update patient details diagnostic information and treatment notes in the hospital software Maintain confidentiality of all patient-related data Support to Doctors Assist consultants by typing notes during patient consultations or from voice dictations Maintain an organized record of reports for consultants and ensure timely delivery Documentation Management Sort file and organize physical and digital copies of medical documentation Ensure timely submission of medical summaries certificates and patient letters Coordinating with Other Departments Communicate effectively with nursing staff billing department and other support teams for document-related queries Liaise with diagnostic departments radiology pathology for report updates and entry Maintaining Compliance Ensure that all documentation adheres to hospital policies and healthcare standards Stay updated on any recent terminology or departmental procedures Additional Duties Assist in administrative tasks like appointment coordination typing departmental meeting minutes and patient follow-up letters as required Provide support during audits or inspections by organizing records Desired Candidate Profile Female candidate with minimum 5 years of experience in a similar hospital clinic role Fast and accurate typing skills Minimum 50-60 WPM preferred Familiarity with medical terminology and hospital documentation Knowledge of EMR software and good computer proficiency MS Word Excel Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Good communication skills and a professional attitude Ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times Joining Requirement Immediate - Candidate must be ready to join within 1-3 working days from the date of selection Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 14 500 00 - 21 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule Rotational shift Supplemental Pay Yearly bonus Experience Typist-Female 5 years Required Language Kannada Required Location Chamrajpet Bengaluru Karnataka Required Work Location In person Application Deadline 07 08 2025 Expected Start Date 22 07 2025
