Job Title CMM Operator The CMM Operator is responsible for inspecting parts and components using Coordinate Measuring Machines CMM to ensure they meet required dimensional specifications This role ensures high levels of precision and quality in the manufacturing process Key Responsibilities Operate CMM equipment e g ZEISS Mitutoyo Hexagon etc to measure dimensions of mechanical components Perform First Article Inspection FAI In-process and Final Inspection using CMM and conventional tools micrometers calipers height gauges Interpret engineering drawings GD T Geometric Dimensioning Tolerancing symbols and 3D models Create and modify CMM inspection programs using software e g PC-DMIS Calypso MODUS Document inspection results and generate reports for quality assurance Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for non-conforming parts Maintain inspection records and comply with quality management systems e g ISO 9001 AS9100 Calibrate and maintain measuring instruments as per calibration schedule Collaborate with production engineering and quality teams for continuous improvement Key Skills Competencies Proficient in CMM operation and programming Robust understanding of GD T and engineering drawings Familiarity with metrology and measurement principles Hands-on experience with quality inspection tools Basic knowledge of MS Office Excel Word Strong attention to detail and precision Good communication and reporting skills Qualifications Diploma ITI in Mechanical Production Industrial Engineering Experience 2 to 5 years in CMM operation in a manufacturing or machining environment Exposure to automotive aerospace or precision engineering industries preferred Job Type Full-time Pay 16 000 00 - 22 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Leave encashment Life insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location In person Expected Start Date 01 08 2025
