Define supervise and review site surveys reports submitted by consultant third parties geotechnical topographical hydrological environmental permitting evaluating suitability for linear works layout access roads drainage networks platforms cable trenches and identifying risks with corresponding mitigation measures Lead the design optimization and review of access roads platforms and drainage systems for renewable projects solar PV wind and BESS is advantage ensuring constructability cost-effectiveness and compliance with international and local standards Cooperate with multidisciplinary teams structural electrical environmental permitting CAD BIM to integrate linear works into the overall plant layout including accurate earthworks estimates and construction methodologies Support Project Development and Project Acquisition phases by assessing civil and hydrological risks validating site characterization studies and challenging engineering assumptions to secure robust and reliable designs Participate in EPC tendering processes preparing and reviewing civil works design packages linear works evaluating proposals and supporting technical negotiations with contractors Contribute to LCOE optimization through innovative and cost-efficient solutions in linear works design balancing technical environmental and commercial constraints Review and approve detailed engineering designs Owner s Engineering scope leading technical discussions and ensuring alignment with company technical standards and best practices Manage and coordinate external consultants and contractors for geotechnical hydrological and road design studies ensuring delivery of high-quality outputs on time and within budget Conduct and review civil engineering calculations for earthworks drainage pavements and foundations associated with linear infrastructures Ensure compliance with internal Technical Standards international norms and local regulations applicable to linear infrastructures Support Construction and Quality teams during project execution providing technical clarifications reviewing change requests and contributing to problem resolution on site Report Experience Education Experience Degree or master s degree in Civil Engineering or similar 15 years of experience in civil engineering technical roles or equivalent International working experience and or in projects globally Fluent English spoken and written Additional languages are a plus Knowledge Experience Solid experience in civil engineering for Wind Farms Advantage Solar PV plants and BESS Advantage projects with a solid focus on linear works access roads drainage networks trenches platforms earthworks and foundations Proven experience in the construction and detailed design of utility-scale renewable or large infrastructure projects ensuring constructability and compliance with international and local standards Strong background in road design geometric pavement and drainage including foundations and earthworks cut fill leveling platforms slope stabilization Experience with hydrological and hydraulic analysis for renewable projects including drainage stormwater management and flood risk studies with ability to prepare and review technical reports Sound knowledge of topographical surveys and their application to linear works design roads trenches drainage platforms Ability to perform earthworks calculations cut fill volumes mass haul diagrams optimization of excavation balance and validate contractor estimates Experience in civil design for renewable infrastructures using specialized CAD and modelling software AutoCAD Civil 3D Softree or equivalent including grading corridors and alignments Familiarity with data from GIS software QGIS ArcGIS or Global Mapper applied to route selection hydrological catchments and land optimization Familiarity with company technical standards and international codes for linear works AASHTO Eurocodes local regulations Experience coordinating and reviewing external consultants deliverables geotechnical hydrological and road studies Desirable experience in Owner s Engineering or EPC tender processes reviewing civil works proposals for access roads platforms drainage and earthworks Familiarity with renewable project technologies trackers BESS containers PV structures wind turbine foundations and their interfaces with linear works Personal Work Skills Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues to multidisciplinary stakeholders both in person and remotely Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail particularly in risk identification problem-solving and optimization of linear works Capacity to work autonomously on engineering tasks while ensuring coordination with central teams and alignment with project objectives Resilient and adaptable able to perform under pressure and deliver high-quality outputs in
