Position Pickup Driver Department Operations Logistics Location Chennai Metro Limited - Chennai Project Employment Type Full-Time 1 Role Overview We are looking for a reliable and experienced Pickup Driver to join our team The candidate will be responsible for protected transportation of materials equipment and documents as required ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining vehicle safety and compliance 2 Key Responsibilities Operate company pickup vehicle safely and responsibly for daily transportation needs Pick up and deliver materials equipment and documents to various sites and locations Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials without causing any damage Maintain the cleanliness routine maintenance and overall condition of the vehicle Follow all traffic rules safety regulations and company driving policies Maintain proper records of trips fuel usage and any issues with the vehicle Coordinate with the Operations Site teams for daily movement plans Report any mechanical faults or breakdowns immediately to the supervisor Assist in basic field support activities if and when required Ensure timely completion of assigned routes and schedules 3 Required Qualifications Skills Minimum High School 10th Pass Valid Driving License - Commercial License Only Minimum 2-5 years of driving experience preferably in commercial or site environments Familiarity with local and intercity routes Ability to handle materials carefully Good communication and discipline Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting 4 Personal Attributes Punctual honest and responsible Strong sense of safety and discipline Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions Positive behavior and professional conduct at all times 5 Salary Benefits Salary 15000 to 20000 Additional benefits Fuel reimbursement PF ESI if applicable travel allowance as per policy Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Work Location Remote
