Lead and coach a team of engineering managers and engineers to build and operate scalable reliable backend platform services for F O - Architect design and implement services for scale throughput durability and low latency ensuring high availability and performance for enterprise customers - Drive innovation in service deployment and maintenance automating processes to maximize reliability and minimize manual intervention - Partner with product management design user research and marketing to deliver impactful solutions that align with business priorities and customer needs - Define requirements KPIs priorities and planning for engineering deliverables ensuring alignment with growth objectives - Provide technical leadership for identifying dependencies developing design documents and optimizing code for maintainability and ROI - Foster a Live Site culture ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction - Collaborate with teams across Microsoft e g Power Platform Dataverse Azure to drive platform growth and innovation - Mentor and develop talent building an inclusive and high-performing team culture Qualifications - Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related technical discipline AND 8 years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C C C Java JavaScript or Python OR equivalent experience - 5 years of direct people management experience - Experience leading engineering teams in the design implementation and operation of large-scale distributed platforms or services Other Requirements - Ability to meet Microsoft customer and or government security screening requirements for this role including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire transfer and every two years thereafter Preferred Qualifications - Experience in development and design at scale especially for cloud-based or SaaS platforms - Experience operating in an Agile environment - Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management -
