What role you will play in our team The Research Technologist will support application development and testing of polymer products This role is based in Bangalore Karnataka the role involves conducting laboratory testing aligned with international standards and ExxonMobil s proprietary methods The position contributes to product performance validation and business value creation through collaboration with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams What you will do Conduct laboratory testing of polymer products using ASTM ISO and ExxonMobil in-house methods Analyze and report test data to provide insights that support business decisions Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure consistent and accurate performance Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to support product development and application work Ensure compliance with ExxonMobil s safety controls and quality standards during all lab operations Demonstrate ownership and General Interest GI behaviors to drive continuous improvement About You Skills and Qualifications Education Bachelor s master s degree in Rubber Polymer Plastic Engineering Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with CGPA 6 5 or equivalent academic performance Minimum 3 years of experience into Research Operations Production Technical services Tribology and Product or application development Technical Knowledge o Understanding polymer science materials engineering and chemical processing o Exposure to laboratory testing calibration and equipment maintenance o Familiarity with ASTM and ISO
