Job Requirements Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Controls Training Engineer with expertise in gas turbine systems and a solid understanding of controls software engineering The ideal candidate will have experience in UI UX screen development HMI Human-Machine Interface network architecture modeling and simulation This role requires excellent communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and engaging with team members and newcomers Key Responsibilities Training Development Design and deliver comprehensive training programs focused on controls engineering principles gas turbine operations and software applications Content Creation Develop instructional materials including presentations manuals and hands-on exercises that facilitate effective learning Software Engineering Support Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance controls software solutions ensuring alignment with best practices in UI UX design HMI Development Contribute to the design and implementation of user-friendly HMI systems that improve operator interaction with gas turbine controls Modeling Simulation Utilize modeling and simulation tools to demonstrate control strategies and system behaviors during training sessions Team Engagement Foster a collaborative learning environment by actively engaging with team members encouraging questions and facilitating discussions Mentorship Provide guidance and support to current employees helping them acclimate to the company culture and technical processes Continuous Improvement Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in controls engineering to continuously enhance training content and methodologies Work Experience Qualifications Education Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field A Master s degree is a plus Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in gas turbine controls engineering or related fields Technical Skills Proficiency in controls software engineering principles Experience in UI UX screen development for control systems Knowledge of HMI design concepts and best practices Familiarity with network architecture relevant to control systems Proficient in modeling and simulation tools e g MATLAB Simulink Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner Teaching Ability Passion for teaching and mentoring experience in training or educational roles is highly desirable Personal Attributes Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences Enthusiastic about continuous learning and development within the field of controls engineering Innovative thinker who can adapt training approaches based on learner needs
