The Academic Counselor is responsible for guiding and supporting students in their academic journey This role involves providing academic advising career guidance and personal development support while helping students overcome academic challenges and achieve their educational goals Key Responsibilities Provide academic advising to students on course selection degree planning and graduation requirements Assist students in developing study skills time management and academic improvement strategies Counsel students facing academic difficulties and provide personalized success plans Guide students in exploring career paths internships and higher education opportunities Conduct orientation sessions workshops and awareness programs for student success Collaborate with faculty and administration to support student development and retention Maintain accurate records of student interactions progress and counseling sessions Refer students to appropriate support services tutoring career services mental health resources when needed Stay updated on academic policies curriculum changes and educational opportunities Ensure confidentiality and ethical practices in all student interactions Qualifications Skills Bachelor s degree in Education Counseling Psychology or related field Master s preferred 2-4 years of experience in academic advising or student support services Solid interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills Contact (phone hidden) Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Internet reimbursement Leave encashment Work Location In person
