Job Title Purchase Executive - Zinc Raw Material Procurement Location A J C Bose Road FMC FORTUNA KOLKATA- 700020 Department Purchase Supply Chain Reports to Head of Supply Chain Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement of zinc chemicals and other raw materials for our manufacturing operations The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills knowledge of chemical industry procurement and the ability to communicate effectively in English with vendors suppliers and internal teams Key Responsibilities Identify evaluate and onboard reliable suppliers vendors for zinc chemicals and related raw materials Negotiate price payment terms and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely availability Prepare and process purchase orders agreements and contracts Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production stores for timely procurement Conduct market research to track price trends new products and supplier performance Maintain vendor database and build strong supplier relationships Ensure compliance with company policies industry standards and statutory requirements Coordinate with accounts for vendor payments and with logistics for material delivery Generate regular purchase reports for management review Communicate fluently in English both written spoken with international and domestic suppliers Candidate Requirements Education Graduate in Commerce Science Engineering preference for candidates with specialization in Supply Chain Materials Management Experience 3-6 years of experience in chemical or metal industry procurement zinc raw materials preferred Skills Robust negotiation vendor management skills Good knowledge of purchase cycle and supply chain processes Ability to maintain cost efficiency while ensuring quality Proficiency in MS Office Excel Word Outlook Fluent English communication mandatory Other Qualities Analytical detail-oriented proactive and good at multitasking Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 25 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
