We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer to join our team on a contract basis The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing maintaining and optimizing SQL databases and related processes This project focuses on enhancing our data infrastructure and ensuring data integrity and performance for a critical business application Responsibilities Design and Development Develop and maintain efficient and scalable database schemas stored procedures functions and triggers Performance Tuning Analyze and optimize complex queries and database performance to improve efficiency and reduce latency Data Integration Create and manage ETL Extract Transform Load processes using SQL Server Integration Services SSIS or similar tools to ensure seamless data flow Troubleshooting Identify and resolve database issues including performance bottlenecks data discrepancies and system errors Collaboration Work closely with business analysts and software developers to understand project requirements and translate them into effective database solutions Documentation Maintain clear and concise documentation for all database processes schemas and procedures Qualifications Experience Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a SQL Developer Technical Skills Proficiency in Transact-SQL T-SQL or other SQL dialects Strong experience with SQL Server database administration and development Hands-on experience with performance tuning and query optimization Familiarity with ETL processes and tools like SSIS Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines Job Types Part time Contractual Temporary
