A TGT Trained Graduate Teacher Science Teacher is responsible for teaching science subjects to middle and secondary school students typically grades 6-10 Their duties include developing lesson plans conducting classes facilitating lab experiments assessing student progress and adapting teaching styles to meet diverse learning needs They also play a role in fostering a positive learning environment encouraging critical thinking and promoting scientific inquiry Key Responsibilities Curriculum Delivery Teach science subjects Biology Chemistry Physics Earth Science following the prescribed syllabus and develop engaging lesson plans Instructional Methods Employ various teaching techniques including lectures demonstrations hands-on activities and digital tools to make learning interactive and enjoyable Assessment and Evaluation Conduct assessments quizzes and exams to evaluate student learning and provide feedback on their progress Classroom Management Maintain a positive and disciplined learning setting encouraging student participation and fostering a love for science Student Development Identify and support students with different learning needs providing academic guidance and mentoring Laboratory and Extracurricular Activities Supervise and facilitate laboratory experiments and encourage students to participate in science competitions and projects Professional Development Stay updated with current developments in science education and participate in relevant training and workshops Additional Responsibilities Setting and correcting papers Developing and updating learning modules Organizing and participating in extracurricular activities Assisting with departmental activities Communicating with parents and guardians about student progress Maintaining student records and grades Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Work Location In person
