Job Title Executive - Information Technology IT Department IT Reports to Functional Head Job Purpose To ensure the smooth functioning of all IT systems and infrastructure at the manufacturing plant supporting production operations and administration through timely IT support maintenance and development Key Responsibilities 1 IT Infrastructure Support Provide daily support for desktops laptops printers and other IT hardware across the plant commercial Troubleshoot hardware software issues and resolve them in a timely manner Coordinate with vendors for hardware servicing and replacements 2 Network Management Monitor and maintain LAN WAN Wi-Fi and internet connectivity within the plant commercial Address network downtime issues and ensure high uptime of connectivity Assist in the setup of routers switches firewalls and network security systems 3 System Administration Install configure and update operating systems and software Manage user accounts access controls and data backups Ensure cybersecurity measures anti-virus patches firewall rules are up-to-date 4 ERP Software Support Provide first-level support for ERP systems Coordinate with the ERP support team for module-wise issue resolution Assist in data entry reporting and generation of MIS as required 5 IT Asset Management Maintain inventory of IT assets - hardware software licenses cables etc Ensure asset tagging and audit compliance 7 Documentation and Compliance Maintain documentation for network diagrams license records and IT SOPs Ensure adherence to IT policies and data protection protocols Qualifications Experience Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science IT or related field 2-5 years of experience in IT support preferably in a manufacturing setup Basic knowledge of ERP systems industrial automation and plant IT infrastructure Skills Required Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills Valuable understanding of Windows OS networking protocols and cybersecurity Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users Flexibility to work in shifts and respond to urgent plant requirements
