Animal Health Pathology Lab (AHPL) is looking for an experienced Billing & Registration Executive to join our veterinary diagnostic laboratory. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in pathology laboratory or hospital billing and registration, with strong knowledge of patient/sample registration, billing software, cash handling, and laboratory sample processing.
Key Responsibilities
* Register patients and laboratory samples accurately using laboratory software.
* Generate bills, invoices, and receipts.
* Handle cash, UPI, card, and other payment transactions with proper accounting.
* Verify patient and sample details before registration.
* Print and affix barcode labels and vial stickers accurately.
* Ensure correct sample identification and documentation.
* Coordinate with collection, laboratory, and reporting teams.
* Maintain daily billing records, cash reconciliation, and reports.
* Follow laboratory SOPs and quality standards.
* Provide courteous customer service to pet owners, veterinarians, and clinic staff.
Required Skills
* Experience in pathology laboratory or hospital registration and billing.
* Knowledge of pathology/LIS or hospital management software.
* Experience in cash handling and billing reconciliation.
* Barcode and vial sticker labeling experience.
* Good computer skills (MS Office, email, billing software).
* Good communication skills in Bengali, Hindi, and basic English.
* Ability to work under pressure with high accuracy.
* Robust attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualification
* Graduate in any discipline.
* Diploma/Certification in Medical Laboratory Technology or Hospital Administration will be an added advantage.
Experience
* Minimum 25 years of relevant experience in a pathology laboratory, diagnostic centre, hospital, or veterinary laboratory.
* Candidates with veterinary diagnostic laboratory experience will be given preference.
