Job Summary

The Claims Executive is responsible for providing end-to-end claims support to clients by ensuring timely registration, documentation, coordination with insurers, surveyors and other stakeholders. The role involves facilitating smooth claim settlement, maintaining excellent client service, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist clients in the registration and claim procedures, documentation requirements, and policy coverage processing of insurance claims
- Scrutinize claim documents to ensure completeness and compliance with insurer requirements.
- Coordinate with insurance companies, surveyors, Garage/ repairers, and other stakeholders for timely claim processing.
- Monitor claim status and provide regular updates to clients and internal management.
- Follow up with insurers to expedite claim assessment and settlement & resolve customer queries and address claim-related grievances promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate claim records, MIS reports,



trackers, claim summaries, analysis and periodic reports for management and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, IRDAI regulations, and insurer guidelines.
- Coordinate with the sales and servicing teams to provide seamless customer support.

Required Qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Commerce, Management, Insurance, or Law).
- Diploma or certification in Insurance or Risk Management is an added advantage.

Experience

- 3-5 years of experience in insurance claims handling, preferably in an insurance broking company.
- Experience in handling Corporate, Motor, Property, Marine, or Liability claims will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Sound knowledge of insurance policies and claims procedures.
- Good understanding of IRDAI regulations and industry practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong relationship with Insurers.
