- About the Role:
- We are looking for an experienced Fund Manager Private Equity to join a leading investment banking firm in Mumbai
- The role involves managing private equity investments across the entire investment lifecycle, including deal sourcing, financial analysis, due diligence, transaction execution, portfolio management, and investor engagement
- The ideal candidate should possess strong commercial acumen, exceptional financial modelling skills, and a proven track record in evaluating and managing investment opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

- - Identify, evaluate, and execute private equity investment opportunities across diverse sectors
- - Conduct detailed financial modelling, valuation, industry research, and commercial analysis to support investment decisions
- - Lead end-to-end due diligence, including financial, legal, commercial, and operational assessments
- - Prepare investment memorandums and present recommendations to the Investment Committee
- - Structure and negotiate investment transactions in collaboration with legal, tax, and external advisors
- - Monitor portfolio company performance and work closely with management teams to drive value creation initiatives
- - Develop and implement portfolio monitoring frameworks, including financial and operational KPIs
- - Support portfolio companies in strategic planning, capital raising, mergers & acquisitions, and business expansion initiatives




- - Build and maintain solid relationships with entrepreneurs, promoters, investors, intermediaries, and industry stakeholders
- - Assist in fund deployment strategies, portfolio allocation, and exit planning through strategic sales, IPOs, or secondary transactions
- - Participate in fundraising activities, investor presentations, and Limited Partner (LP) reporting
- - Mentor junior investment professionals and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team

Desired Candidate Profile:

- - CA, CFA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification from a reputed institution
- - 6-10 years of relevant experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital or Investment Banking firm
- - Strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation techniques, transaction execution, and investment analysis
- - Experience in managing investments across multiple sectors is preferred
- - Sound understanding of deal structuring, shareholder agreements, and investment documentation
- - Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- - Proven ability to independently manage transactions and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- - Strong presentation skills with experience preparing investment committee papers and investor reports
- - High level of commercial judgement, integrity, and attention to detail
