Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead Private Credit Data Solutions to drive strategic data initiatives for private credit client. The role goes beyond BAU execution: it focuses on shaping solutions, leading remediation programs, and partnering with clients to improve the quality, consistency, and usability of reference data across their proprietary systems. The ideal candidate brings strong domain knowledge of private credit instruments, hands-on experience in data management, and the ability to lead teams and engage senior stakeholders to deliver practical, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities -

- Collaborate with clients and key stakeholders to understand private credit data challenges and design practical, scalable solutions.
- Translate business requirements into clear project scope, execution plans, and deliverables while coordinating with operations and technology teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for global stakeholders, providing regular updates, recommendations, and project status reports.
- Lead data remediation initiatives to resolve complex private credit data issues, including facility/tranche mismatches, accrual discrepancies, interest calculations, and administrator vs. internal system differences.
- Analyze loan documentation, credit agreements, loan tapes, and financial reports to perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term data quality improvements.




- Establish and enhance data quality standards, governance frameworks, controls, and reconciliation processes to improve the accuracy and consistency of reference data.
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives by standardizing reporting, optimizing workflows, and leveraging GenAI tools to enhance analytics and data quality.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, operating procedures, and governance frameworks to support continuous operational excellence.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts by reviewing deliverables, building domain expertise, managing workload allocation, and ensuring timely project delivery.
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management while fostering collaboration across business, operations, and technology teams.

Requirements -

- 8 to 12 years of experience in reference data or instrument data management, with meaningful exposure to private credit, loans, or private debt
- Strong understanding of loan structures, credit agreements, loan tapes, and admin reports
- Proven experience in data quality issue resolution, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis
- Experience leading remediation or transformation projects in a financial services environment
- Track record of managing teams and working with global stakeholders
- Good working knowledge of Jira and Claude; exposure to JQL is a plus
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills
