The role aims to ensuring industry-standard maintenance of equipment and optimizing operational efficiency through maintenance budget evaluation and timely capex project of completion. Additionally, it involves driving initiatives for energy efficiency, equipment health, and efficient maintenance schedules, contributing to overall operational effectiveness and plant efficiency improvements across all PCS locations
1. Quality and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure the implementation and maintenance of robust food quality and Health, Safety, and Workplace (HSE) systems compliant with industry standards.
- Ensure that equipment and utilities are maintained to industry standards to align with safety requirements.
2. Operational Enhancement & Projects:
- Gather PCS capacity enhancement requirements based on production capacity and handling capacity.
- Gather the PCS requirements and evaluate EPC proposed budget and prepare a comprehensive pitch deck for capex approval.
- Evaluate budget considerations, capacity requirements, and determine the payback period for optimized decision-making.
- Work closely with the EPC teams to oversee the entire construction, commissioning, and launch process of PCS facilities.
- Ensure timely completion of Capital Expenditure (Capex) projects to enhance operational efficiency seamlessly.
3. Energy Efficiency:
- Achieve optimal Energy Units per KG targets by optimizing production processes and equipment conditions for reduced energy consumption.
4. Maintenance Management:
- Generate Maintenance Reports, including Machine Health Cards, and manage Maintenance Costs effectively.
- Lead new project planning, including layout, process reengineering, and equipment execution for enhanced efficiency in coordination with the EPC Team.
- Aim for an 85% closure rate on Facility Management (FM) calls to maintain operational effectiveness.
- Ensure critical plant & machinery uptime to prevent production shutdowns.
- Maintain high Fill rates by ensuring optimal conditions of equipment across all PCS.
- Coordinate closely with Facility Management (FM) and Site Maintenance teams for seamless operations.
- Prepare the Annual Operational Plan (AOP) for Plant Maintenance.
- Prepare and optimize FM Budgets for cost-effective maintenance.
- Drive improvements and initiatives in mechanized processes within PCS.
- Focus on energy conservation throughout operations to reduce overall power consumption.
- Strategize Plant Revamping & Equipment Augmentation to bolster efficiency.
5. Hygiene and Maintenance Scheduling:
- Prepare maintenance schedules for all PCS, including housekeeping and cleaning production areas.
- Review the Site Maintenance Manager for maintaining good GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
