Hiring: Associate / Senior Analyst Equity Capital Markets (ECM)

We are hiring an Associate / Senior Analyst – Equity Capital Markets (ECM) for a reputed Merchant Banking / Investment Banking platform. This opportunity is ideal for professionals looking to build a career across IPO Origination (Client Onboarding) and IPO Syndication (Deal Placement).

Key Responsibilities

Client Onboarding / Issuer Origination

- Support the origination and onboarding of IPO mandates across Mainboard and SME IPOs.
- Assist in preparing pitch books, valuation analysis, peer benchmarking, and transaction feasibility studies.
- Coordinate with promoters, management teams, legal advisors, auditors, and other intermediaries throughout the IPO onboarding process.
- Support due diligence and documentation, including DRHP/RHP-related workstreams.
- Maintain and track the pipeline of prospective issuers and monitor mandate progress.

IPO Syndication / Deal Placement

- Assist in the placement and distribution of IPO, FPO, QIP, and Rights Issue transactions.
- Coordinate with syndicate members, brokers, distributors, institutional investors, and other market participants.
- Support investor roadshows and outreach initiatives.
- Track subscription data, bidding activity,



and prepare daily deal updates for internal stakeholders.
- Assist with post-issue activities, including allotment coordination and reconciliation.

General Responsibilities

- Provide analytical, MIS, and execution support across live and prospective ECM transactions.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Candidate Profile

- Experience: 2–3 years in Equity Capital Markets, Merchant Banking, Investment Banking, IPO Execution, IPO Syndication, or related capital market functions.
- Education: CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute preferred.
- Good understanding of the IPO lifecycle, DRHP process, and SEBI (ICDR) Regulations.
- Strong analytical, financial modelling, valuation, Excel, and MIS skills.
- Excellent coordination, stakeholder management, and communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively in a quick-paced, deadline-driven environment.
