Role Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical and research-driven Equity Research Analyst to join our Portfolio Management Services (PMS) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth fundamental research, building financial models, generating investment ideas, and supporting portfolio managers in constructing high-conviction equity portfolios.

The role requires a robust understanding of Indian capital markets, company analysis, valuation methodologies, and the ability to identify long-term investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed fundamental research on listed companies across sectors.
- Build and maintain integrated financial models, earnings forecasts, and valuation models (DCF, Relative Valuation, SOTP, etc.).
- Generate high-conviction investment ideas supported by comprehensive research.
- Prepare detailed investment notes, sector reports, and company updates.
- Track quarterly results, earnings calls, corporate announcements, and industry developments.
- Meet company management teams, attend analyst meets, investor conferences, and channel checks to validate investment theses.
- Monitor portfolio companies and recommend additions, exits, or changes based on evolving fundamentals.




- Analyse macroeconomic trends, sector dynamics, and regulatory developments impacting investments.
- Work closely with Portfolio Managers to support portfolio construction and investment decision-making.
- Present research findings and investment recommendations to the investment committee.

Desired Candidate Profile

- MBA (Finance), CA, CFA (completed or pursuing), or equivalent qualification.
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in Buy-side Equity Research, PMS, AMC, AIF, Mutual Fund, or Institutional Equity Research.
- Strong expertise in financial statement analysis, valuation, and financial modelling.
- Excellent understanding of equity markets and investment processes.
- Ability to independently cover sectors and generate actionable investment ideas.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail with a disciplined and research-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv, or similar research platforms is preferred.

Preferred Background

Candidates currently working with PMS firms, Asset Management Companies (AMCs), Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), institutional buy-side investment teams, or leading equity research firms will be preferred.
