Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Unit Head / Site In-Charge to lead logistics and warehouse operations at our customer site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, team performance, statutory compliance, and continuous improvement while ensuring smooth day-to-day site operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end logistics operations, including inbound, warehouse, outbound, inventory control, and material issuance.
- Manage a team of 2530 employees, ensuring effective manpower planning, shift execution, productivity, and adherence to SOPs.
- Monitor operational KPIs, KRAs, SLAs, MIS reporting, SAP transactions, and monthly billing documentation.
- Build strong customer relationships through regular operational reviews, Daily Work Meetings (DWM), and Monthly Review Meetings (MRM).
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, company policies, POSH guidelines,



and timely resolution of Industrial Relations (IR) matters.
- Drive safety initiatives, 5S implementation, CAPA/RCA practices, and support customer and system audits such as ISO, TPS, VDA 6.3, EMS, and QMS.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, implement Kaizen initiatives, and monitor contractor performance.
- Develop and mentor team members through performance management, coaching, and employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

- B.E. Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME).
- 58 years of experience in the automotive industry, FMCD,with hands-on exposure to Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
